Accessibility Statement
Global Asset Agency is committed to providing an accessible website that meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance and ADA Section 508 expectations.
Equal access to information
Global Asset Agency strives to ensure that every visitor — including people with disabilities — can reach the information and tools on this website. We design and maintain the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and we work toward the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Accessibility is not a one-time launch task. We test the site on every deploy and respond to feedback when something falls short.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA
This site is designed to substantially conform to WCAG 2.1 at Level AA. “Substantially conforms” means that the website meets the requirements with one or more minor exceptions. We assess conformance through a combination of automated and manual testing on every change before it ships.
How we test
- Automated checks on every deploy. Every page is rendered in headless Chromium at three viewports (mobile 375×812, tablet 768×1024, desktop 1280×800). axe-core verifies zero WCAG 2.1 Level AA violations. Lighthouse accessibility score must be at least 95 of 100 per page.
- Color contrast. Every foreground × background pair from our design-token system is mathematically verified against the WCAG contrast formula. Body text clears 4.5:1; large text and decorative accents clear 3:1.
- Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element — the navigation menu, dropdowns, form controls, and the Make a Payment button — is reachable by Tab, activatable by Enter or Space, and dismissable by Escape.
- Screen-reader semantics. ARIA landmark roles (
role="banner",role="navigation",role="main"), exactly one<h1>per page, ordered heading hierarchy with no skipped levels, and a skip-link as the first focusable element. - Reduced motion. Visitors who set
prefers-reduced-motion: reduceat the OS level receive a site with animations disabled and transitions reduced to 0.01ms. - Forced colors. Visitors using Windows High Contrast Mode or equivalent system features receive a layout that respects the system color palette (Canvas, CanvasText, Highlight) instead of our brand colors.
Where we know we fall short
We commit to transparency about known accessibility limitations. As of the date below, we are tracking:
- Third-party Payment Portal. The “Make a Payment” link opens our service provider Simplicity's payment portal in a new tab. That portal's accessibility is outside our direct control. If you encounter a barrier on the payment portal, please contact us using the methods below and we will help you complete payment through an alternative channel.
- Cloudflare bot challenge. Visitors flagged by Cloudflare's bot protection may be served a JavaScript challenge before reaching our pages. The challenge itself is provided by Cloudflare and its accessibility is governed by Cloudflare's own statement. If the challenge prevents you from reaching the site, please contact us and we will assist.
How to tell us when something is wrong
If you cannot reach information on this site, or if any page is difficult to use with assistive technology, we want to hear about it. Please contact us by any of the methods below and include:
- The page address (URL) where the barrier occurred
- A short description of what you were trying to do
- The assistive technology you were using (screen reader name and version, OS, browser, etc.) if applicable
All form fields are labeled and keyboard-navigable. Phone-screen-reader friendly.
Requesting an accessible alternative
If any document, policy, or statement on this site is not accessible to you in its current form, we will provide an accessible alternative on request. Contact us using the methods above and identify the document you need. We will deliver an alternative format — large print, plain-text email, accessible PDF, or read-aloud over the phone — within five business days.
If you are receiving collection communications and need them in an alternative format, please contact us at the number above before responding. We will reissue any required disclosure in the accessible format you request, on the schedule the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Regulation F provide for.
Escalation path
If you have contacted us at [email protected] or by phone and feel your accessibility concern has not been resolved, you may submit a formal grievance in writing to:
